Homemade strawberry jam

Making strawberry jam during strawberry season🍓~ (All utensils should be washed with boiling water first, do not get oily!!!)

Remove the stems of 3 pounds of strawberries and wash them (the flesh of these small strawberries is firm and sweet).

Add 30 grams of white sugar (adjust the amount of sugar according to your personal preference).

Use your hands (you can wear gloves) to mix evenly, then let it sit for 20 minutes, waiting for the strawberry pectin to separate out (the size and quantity of the pulp will be determined according to your personal taste).

Turn on low heat and stir constantly, and skim off any floating foam (it is recommended to stir with a long-handled spoon).

After 20 minutes, add about 5 grams of lemon juice to enhance the flavor (adjust the amount according to personal taste).

Simmer for another 20 minutes or so, then change to medium heat to reduce the juice (the specific time depends on your own heat).

Boil until the consistency you like and serve.

Put into an airtight bottle, let cool and store in the refrigerator.
