Plum wine: "Zhuse wine" derived from ancient recipes

Overview

I first came across Zhuse Wine in the health diary of Zheng’an Life. Wring the juice from 250g of fresh plums, mix it with rice wine, and take it in early summer, 1 cup each time. Drinking plum juice wine in summer can make women look beautiful, so plum wine is also called zhuse wine. It turns out that the plum wine I brewed last summer still has such effects. After studying online, I found out that the plum wine comes from "Xuan Chi Shuo Lin" written by Anonymous in Volume 31 of "Shuo Yong": At the beginning of summer, plums are popular among people, and people at the time said: "Eating plums at the beginning of summer can make the color beautiful." ’ Therefore, on that day, women held plum meetings and drank plum juice and wine, which was called Zhuse Wine. Making plum juice into wine is a huge project, and the plums are only available for a few days. It is better to soak it in rice wine, using the earliest green plums on the market, which is sour and green, and the brewed plum wine is fragrant and sweet. When it was opened this year, it was highly praised. Unfortunately, only a small bottle was brewed last year. This year I took advantage of the plum wine and brewed two large bottles. I hope to have a pleasant drink at the beginning of summer next year and share the soft and mellow Zhuse wine with family and friends.
