Hunan cuisine--steamed bacon with salted vegetables
Overview
This is a Hunan home-cooked dish that goes well with meals. Cat’s mother likes to eat steamed vegetables the most. Today I learned this dish from my mother. Salted vegetables and bacon are two ingredients that go very well together. The unique dried aroma of salted vegetables is perfectly combined with Hunan smoked bacon. Add some chopped chili that Hunan people love and steam it. The aroma fills the room even before it comes out of the pot. The salted vegetables and bacon are chewy in the mouth and have a particularly fragrant aftertaste. They can be wiped out with just a bowl of rice. It is truly a rice killer.
