Red Date Egg Tart
Overview
Egg tart (EggTart) is called egg tart in Taiwan, and tart is the transliteration of English tart, which means a pie with exposed fillings (as opposed to a pie whose surface is covered by a crust and sealed with fillings); an egg tart is a tart with egg paste as the filling. The method is to put the pie crust into a small round cake mold, pour in the egg paste mixed with sugar and eggs, and then put it in the oven; the baked egg tart has a crispy crust on the outside and a sweet yellow solidified egg paste on the inside. Today I added red dates to the egg tart. After finishing the test, the whole house was filled with the aroma of red dates, it was delicious

Separate egg white and egg yolk for later use

Cut the red dates into cubes. If the dates are very dry, soak them in warm water for 3 minutes

Put the diced red dates in the egg tart shell

Put the milk in a milk pot and add sugar

Heat the milk pot until the sugar is completely melted, remove from the heat and let cool until set aside
