Wash the strawberries and soak them in salt water for a while;

Put the strawberries and juice into the pot, bring to a boil, then lower the heat to medium-low and simmer slowly. Pour in an appropriate amount of maltose according to your taste. If there is a lemon, add the juice of half a lemon;

Continue to simmer slowly over medium-low heat, stirring from time to time with a spoon to avoid sticking to the pan, until the sauce becomes darker in color and thicker, then turn off the heat and let it cool, put it into a vessel sterilized with boiling water, cover it and refrigerate it for ready consumption.
