Soak kelp until soft and cut into slices, soak mung beans for 2 hours

After two hours, the mung beans will become much plumper and can be broken into pieces by pressing with your hands

Wash the mung beans and kelp and put them into the rice cooker. Add water to about 3/5 of the pot (you can add a little more water if you like soup)

Cover and cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes
