Simple version of braised pig trotters
Overview
My children at home love to eat braised pig's trotters. Too many condiments are not good for eating outside. I heard that children should try not to eat braised condiments, so I simply braised the pig's trotters. It's delicious~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Chop the pig's trotters (the merchant helped to chop them when I bought them) and clean them
-
Put water in a pot, bring to a boil, add pig trotters and blanch for five minutes
-
When blanching, you can prepare the seasonings (salt, chicken essence, sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, appropriate amounts according to your daily eating habits). My children are relatively small, so I did not add seasonings such as star anise leaves.
-
After blanching, take out and clean the magazine
-
Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry garlic and ginger until fragrant.
-
Then add the sugar, and at this time you can turn down the heat appropriately
-
When all the sugar has melted, turn on medium heat, add pig trotters and stir-fry
-
After frying for two or three minutes, add salt, chicken essence and soy sauce
-
Stir-fry for five minutes and then add enough water to cover the pig's trotters. If you use a wok, add more water. If you use a pressure cooker, add less water
-
Cover the pot and simmer for 50 minutes, first on high heat for 15 minutes, then on medium heat for 30 minutes, and for the last 5 minutes on high heat to reduce the juice. If you have children, cook for 50 minutes. Normally, simmer for 40 minutes. Just press the pig's trotter button on the pressure cooker.
-
When it’s cooked, take it out of the pot.
