Overview
Brown sugar + hawthorn slices = sweet and sour but not too greasy. It’s a wild attempt. It doesn’t look good, but the taste is passable~

Prepare all the ingredients, heat the milk in a microwave oven, add baking powder and stir until melted and set aside.

Pour the milk into the flour in portions, mix into a dough, and ferment until doubled in size.

Crush the hawthorn with a rolling pin and stir together with the brown sugar.

Knead the fermented dough on the board for a while to remove the air bubbles inside. Shape the dough into a round shape and sprinkle with brown sugar and hawthorn powder.

Roll up from side to side and cut into segments.

Place in the steamer and ferment again for about 10 minutes. Put cold water in the pot and steam for about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat for 5 minutes before opening the lid.
