My honey sauce roasted chicken breaks the conventional method, using the pickling-steaming-roasting process, and brushing it with homemade honey sauce for baking. Wash the slaughtered native chicken and dry it, rub it inside and outside with salt and marinate it for 30 minutes

Cut the green onions into sections, slice the ginger, and stuff them into the stomach together with the mushrooms, star anise, and Sichuan peppercorns

Put soy sauce, cooking wine, five-spice powder and sugar into a bowl and mix well. Massage the chicken evenly and marinate in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours
