Braised Konjac Tofu
Overview

Wash the konjac tofu and cut into four cubes.

Blanch the washed konjac tofu for 2 minutes to remove the alkaline smell, then drain it into cold water. This step is indispensable.

Chop the garlic into mince, cut the green and red pepper into small rings, and blanch the konjac tofu in cold water and set aside.

Prepare the braised sauce first: 2 spoons of light soy sauce ➕1 spoon of dark soy sauce ➕1 spoon of oyster sauce ➕1 spoon of sugar ➕ half a spoon of salt ➕ half a bowl of water and mix thoroughly and set aside.

Pour oil into the pot. When the oil is 60% hot, add garlic and green and red pepper and sauté until fragrant.

Pour in the braised sauce and bring to a boil.

Then pour in the konjac tofu and stir-fry evenly.

Simmer over medium heat for five minutes.
