Stewed tofu with baby cabbage

Overview

I particularly like baby cabbage. It tastes delicious no matter how you cook it. Now I stew it with tofu. It’s quick, convenient, nutritious and delicious.

  1. Wash the baby cabbage and set aside.

  2. Wash the tofu and set aside.

  3. Cut baby cabbage and green onions into knives.

  4. Cut tofu into cubes.

  5. Heat oil in a wok, add in tofu and fry until golden brown and take out.

  6. Heat additional oil, add onion and sauté until fragrant.

  7. Add baby cabbage and stir-fry.

  8. Pour in the pre-fried tofu.

  9. Add bean paste, five-spice powder, ginger powder, and light soy sauce and stir-fry evenly, pour in a little water and simmer to infuse the flavor.

  10. Remove from the pot and season with salt.
