Simulated Walnut Burnt Fruit
Overview
I happen to have cocoa-flavored condensed milk at home, but I accidentally chose the wrong one when I bought baking ingredients last time. I originally wanted to choose the original flavor. But since you bought it, you can’t waste it. Condensed milk happens to be used in making roasted confectionery, and the color of the walnut shell is just right, so. . . Hehe. . .

Ingredients
Steps
-
Add egg yolks to chocolate condensed milk and mix well
-
Sift in the low-gluten flour, knead it into a ball, put it in a plastic bag and let it rest for 20 minutes. The amount of flour should be increased or decreased according to the water absorption rate of different flours.
-
Add a little water and fine sugar to the red beans that have been soaked overnight, steam them over high heat, or cook them in an electric pressure cooker, and grind them into a puree. Since I have ready-made honey beans at home, I just crush them and use them, so that the texture is better
-
Divide the dough into several pieces and roll the red bean paste into balls. Knead the dough into a thin pancake with your hands, wrap the bean paste filling, close and knead into a ball
-
Knead it slightly into an oval shape, pinch out small tips at both ends, and pinch out a few ribs lengthwise
-
Poke some small holes with the slightly thicker end of a toothpick to imitate the texture of the surface of the walnut
-
Because of the Lun family's bad taste, they even cracked a walnut and made it look like it was cut open, which felt more realistic. Wrap the walnut kernels in dough and cut off the edges with scissors
-
Pinch out the edges in the same way and use a toothpick to poke holes in the skin
-
Whole half walnut kernel, wrapped
-
After shaping, place on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper, place in the middle rack of the oven, and bake at 170 degrees for about 10 minutes, until the skin is slightly colored. The skin is very thin and easy to cook
-
After baking, take it out and let it cool
