Steps
-
First prepare the raw materials. Rinse the pine moth with clean water and soak it in warm water for about an hour. Knead it clean and change the water once in the process. Peel the yam and cut it into cubes, then cut some green onion and ginger slices
-
Take out the pine moth and squeeze out the water. Don’t pour out the water soaked in the pine moth yet
-
Heat the wok and add a little oil. Because it is a stew, the amount of oil is only half that of usual cooking. Add onion and ginger to bring out the aroma
-
Stir fry with pine moth
-
Also put the yam in the pot and stir-fry
-
Add a little water to soak the pine moth, and then heat the water until it covers the vegetables. Because the pine moth will contain some sediment, even though it has been washed before, you only need to use the upper part of the bowl to add water here

I ran out of soy sauce at home, so I used bean paste to season it today, and it tasted good. Doubanjiang is salty, so add less salt. Okay, cover the pot and let it stew~

Once the yam is stewed, it's ready to serve. The color of the soup is a bit heavy because of the bean paste, so I'll use light soy sauce next time
