Soaked squid porridge
Overview
Soaked fish porridge is a special way of eating in Chaoshan area. Its characteristics are: the soup is sweet and original, and the rice grains are refreshing. It's not as subsistence-making as porridge.

Wash the dried squid, add two bowls of water and soak it for 1 to 2 hours in advance, then take out the diagonal cutter.

Pour all the water for soaking the squid into the pot, add the pink fish and bring to a boil over high heat.

Add garlic sprouts, salt and chicken essence, bring to a boil over high heat and then turn off the heat.

Pour in the rice and mash.
