Stewed winter melon
Overview
The pork belly stewed with winter melon is more delicious, but in our family, both the old and the young are healthy and cannot eat too much greasy food, so the pork belly is cut into thin slices. Very fragrant too

Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut the winter melon into pieces, it doesn’t matter if the pieces are larger, the winter melon has more flavor.
-
Slice the ginger, smash the garlic, cut the green onion into small pieces, and slice the pork belly.
-
Heat oil in a pan, fry peppercorns and star anise until fragrant, then remove. While cooking, the child suddenly came to the kitchen and got distracted and forgot to take it out. Add meat, onions, ginger and garlic, stir-fry until fragrant and then add light soy sauce.
-
When the meat is about 70% cooked, add the winter melon and stir-fry. Heat the water and cover the winter melon. Because you need to add dry vermicelli, add so much water. If it is wet vermicelli, reduce the amount of water by half. In fact, you don’t need to add water, because the winter melon will produce water on its own, but you need to pay attention to the heat.
-
When the winter melon is translucent, bury the vermicelli in the soup. The vermicelli I use is thin and very cooked. Add tofu and place on top of dish.
-
When the vermicelli is half cooked, stir-fry and dip the tofu into the soup. Remove the juice over high heat.
-
Add a few drops of sesame oil and serve on a plate.
