Almond Vienna Cookies
Overview
I have been using the oven for so long and have made all kinds of cookies, but this is the first time I have made cookies. I followed Master PH's recipe and slightly reduced the amount of butter. The cookies are still creamy and particularly crispy~

Weigh the butter and soften it at room temperature.

Add salt and sugar. (I should add powdered sugar to make it more delicate and easier to squeeze when squeezing cookies. But I didn’t have it, so I used white sugar instead)

Blend until smooth.

Add egg whites and continue mixing evenly.

Sift in the flour.

Sift in cocoa powder.

Stir until there is no dry powder left. Do not over stir to avoid gluten formation.

Put it into a piping bag and choose your favorite piping tip.

Base shape on baking sheet.

Sprinkle with chopped almond slices.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees for about 15 minutes.

After baking, let cool completely.

Cookies are very crispy when completely cooled.

Paired with a little jam, it's a sandwich cookie.
