Summer fume-free cool dinner - family version of simple California rolls
Overview
California Maki (Chinese translation seems to be California roll) is a kind of roll-shaped sushi. The ingredients are usually cucumber, crab sticks, avocado, mayonnaise, rolled with seaweed, and then sprinkled with white sesame seeds or crab roe on the outer layer of rice. Because the method is usually to spread rice on seaweed, and then turn the seaweed side to wrap the material inward, so this type of rolled sushi is also called reverse roll or inner roll. Summer is coming. Not in the mood to cook in the hot summer? Why not make some sushi to eat, it is refreshing and away from kitchen fumes, a must-have in summer ~ There are not so complete ingredients, so it is simpler to make, but overall it is relatively close. I used ordinary rice for the rice, not sushi rice or kelp.

Steps
-
Cook rice for 2 people in the rice cooker, add sushi vinegar and stir evenly
-
Remove the plastic packaging from the crab sticks (I took a special look to see that they can be eaten raw after thawing), slice the avocado, and wrap the sushi curtain with plastic wrap
-
When the rice is no longer so hot, take a small ball of rice and place it on the halved seaweed
-
Spread the entire seaweed evenly, sprinkle with some sesame seeds, and turn over
-
Arrange avocado and crab sticks at the bottom, and add a little sweet chili sauce and mayonnaise
-
Hold the crab stick with your fingers and slowly roll it up with the sushi curtain
-
Dip a knife in water and cut in half
-
Arrange the two half-rolls and divide them into three parts, and you’re done
