Take an appropriate amount of mixed rice and mix it into a bowl.

Miscellaneous rice needs to be washed twice and then soaked in warm water for 4 or 5 hours.

Add water to the pot and bring to a boil. Add soaked mixed rice. After boiling over high heat, use a ladle to remove the foam.

Change to low heat, cover the pot (leaving a gap to prevent water from overflowing the pot) and cook for 50 minutes. Use a spoon to rub the bottom of the pot halfway to prevent it from sticking.
