Oatmeal fish
Overview
Oatmeal is a type of naked oat, commonly known as oil wheat. It contains the highest amount of protein and fat among all grains. The nutritional content of oats is more than seven times that of other flours, which is comparable to refined flour. That day, I ate this oatmeal fish in Xibei Northwest Restaurant. It was particularly chewy and slippery, really like a small fish running in your mouth. So, I bought a bag of oval flour and tried making it myself. When you open the bag, there is a unique aroma of oatmeal noodles. When you add boiling water to knead the dough, the whole house is filled with the unique aroma of oatmeal noodles! What I’m making today is a vegan soup. It will definitely be more delicious if paired with some meat soup!
