Chicken popcorn requires chicken leg meat to be delicious.

Wash the chicken thighs and cut into small pieces and set aside.

Add salt, sugar, white pepper, cracked black pepper, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, mix well and marinate for more than 40 minutes.

Put flour, 5 grams of five-spice powder, and a small spoon of salt into a clean basin, and mix well.

Add marinated chicken.

Start tossing to coat each piece of chicken with flour.

Then put the chicken into the colander, shake it from side to side (not up and down), and sift out the excess flour.

Put it into clean water and soak it for 5 seconds.

Lift it up and drain off the excess water. Note: Do not shake the chicken.

Add the moist chicken back into the dry flour, and continue to stir to coat in the dry flour.
