I bought taro today and tried to make taro balls. I mixed brown sugar water and added some jelly, it was good😊

Peel taro and cut into thin slices

Steam in a pot over water

Crush and add sugar while hot

Then add sweet potato starch and water little by little, and knead into a smooth dough

Sprinkle a little sweet potato flour and roll the dough into thin strips

Then cut into finger-sized pieces, sprinkle with a little sweet potato flour, roll into balls, and put in the freezer for half an hour.

Pour water into the pot, bring it to a boil, add the frozen taro balls (also add the purple sweet potato rice balls made before), wait until the rice balls float and cook for another 5 minutes.

According to personal preference, sprinkle an appropriate amount of brown sugar into a bowl, mix it with the water used to cook the taro balls, and add jelly for a good taste😊
