Twisted Fancy Bread
Overview
I like fancy bread, just cut it and twist it, it’s like a beautiful flower, simple, but it brings us joy.

Steps
-
Put the ingredients for the medium-sized dough (100 grams of medium flour, 75 grams of water, and 1 gram of yeast.) in a container, mix until there is no dry powder, wait for fermentation, and rise to 4 times the size before use.
-
Dissolve the sugar and salt in the main dough with boiling water.
-
After cooling, add flour and medium-sized dough and knead evenly. If possible, you can knead it until it expands. This time, no tendons were drawn, and no fat was added.
-
When the dough has risen to 2 or 3 times its size, it is ready to be made.
-
Flatten the dough to deflate, divide into 5 equal parts, knead into balls and let rest for 15 minutes.
-
Take one of the small pieces of dough, use a rolling pin to roll it into a round dough about 2mm thick, and spread a layer of peanut butter on it.
-
Roll the other 4 pieces of dough into dough of similar size, fold them together, and spread peanut butter in the middle. After folding them all, move them to oil paper or tin foil (the move is one step later in the picture).
-
Find a cup or bottle cap with a round mouth, place it in the center of the dough, and divide it into 16 equal parts around the outside of the bottle cap.
-
Twist the two petals 360 degrees relative to each other.
-
The other petals are also twisted in pairs relative to each other.
-
Let the bread dough ferment in a warm place until it doubles in size. Brush the surface with egg wash and sprinkle a little sesame seeds in the center.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, middle rack, and 170 degrees for 30 minutes.
