Five spice braised beef
Overview
Beef is a common meat ingredient. Due to different parts, the cooking methods are also different. This is beef upper brain meat (called a good part of beef). It is very good for making five-spice braised beef. The meat is fragrant but not burnt, crispy but not rotten, and has a rich beef flavor.

Put the beef into the pot, add cooking wine, scallions and ginger slices and blanch.

Skim off the loose ends.

Cook until there is no blood.

Remove the blanched beef and put it into a pressure cooker, add 1 meat bag, green onions, salt, braised soy sauce, and red yeast rice and cook appropriately (set the time according to the function of your pressure cooker, I set it for 40 minutes).

Take out the braised beef and let it cool before slicing.

Make a dipping sauce.

Cut the beef into thin slices and place on a plate, pour in the sauce and add minced garlic.

Garnish with chopped green onions. The five-spice beef meat is tender but not broken. It is delicious and rich in beef flavor.
