【Honey glutinous rice jujube】
Overview
It’s been a long time since I posted about food. I’ve been back to my hometown since the National Day trip and eat my mom’s cooking every day. When I returned to my husband's house, I did whatever my mother-in-law asked me to do. Suddenly I really wanted to eat this glutinous rice jujube, so I started to do it. Haha. Enjoy life and enjoy food.

Soak the red dates in water. Core and cut.

Mix half and half glutinous rice flour and cornstarch (according to your preference of softness and hardness), and add boiling water in several batches.

Mix well. Until it is no longer sticky and can be kneaded into a ball.

Knead a small piece of the mixed glutinous rice dough into a strip.

Stuff into the cut red dates.

All ready on the plate.

Put into steamer. It takes about 15 minutes.

Prepare honey and add a little water. Peel some rose petals. After steaming, add them all and soak them together to absorb the flavor.
