Tom Yum Kung
Overview
Tom Yum means hot and sour, and it is a national soup in Thailand. The real Tom Yum Goong contains lime, lemongrass, sand ginger, coconut milk, fish sauce, straw mushrooms and so on. But many spices are difficult to find in China. So I use tom yum soup cubes or paste to adjust the spice flavor. There is no oily tofu in real Tom Yum Kung, so you can add it or not. But this time I forgot to buy lime or lemon, coconut milk and straw mushroom. You must remember when making this, because the taste is very different.
