Kimchi Fried Rice Cake
Overview
Many areas in the south have the habit of eating rice cakes during the Chinese New Year, which symbolizes prosperity every year. Hainanese people also have the custom of eating rice cakes during the Chinese New Year, but their rice cakes are different, usually brown sugar rice cakes. I just cooked what our family likes to eat.

Material

Cut the rice cake into small pieces

Boil the rice cakes in boiling water for 2 minutes

Pour out the water together and set aside

Shred onions; cut green garlic into sections

Chop the kimchi into fine pieces

Heat some oil in a pan, add onions and fry until fragrant

Add kimchi and stir-fry for a few times

Take out the rice cake, add in and stir-fry evenly
-
Then add the green garlic and fry until cooked. If you feel it is not flavorful enough, you can add some salt to adjust it.
