Overview

Every time I go out to eat and see this pancake on the menu, I will order it. The side dishes provided by each restaurant are different, but I don't care, because this pancake is what I like to eat, it is white, soft, and has a little Q when I bite it. The first time I made it, a big pot was eaten by three of our family, but I secretly left 3 pieces to eat with poached eggs tomorrow morning. The shape is a bit ugly, but it tastes good. I added bacon and king oyster mushrooms, and later added shiitake mushrooms and vegetables. I think it tastes delicious with anything. Who made me love it.

  1. I made it with a bread machine. First, pour warm water into the bread machine, add salt and sugar, add a little flour, I estimate 10 grams, and then add self-rising flour and yeast. I didn't weigh the grams. Just don't put too much warm water at the beginning, add it slowly. If you don't have a bread machine, use half of the warm water to soak the yeast, then mix the raw materials together, pour the yeast water, and then use chopsticks to stir it into cotton wool, and then slowly add water according to the situation. After kneading the dough smooth, cover it with plastic wrap and let it ferment in a warm place until it doubles in size.

  2. Use a rolling pin to press out the air from the fermented dough, then roll it into a round shape, and then cut it into appropriate size dough.

  4. Brush with a little oil, preferably corn oil, which is odorless. I only have olive oil at home. There is still a smell of olive oil after steaming. So don't use it if you don't like it. It is more reliable to use corn oil.

  5. Then fold it in half up and down. Use a fork or a new comb to press out 5 leaf stems on the dough, and then press the stem of the leaf out.
