Rock Sugar Rose Glutinous Rice Lotus Root
Overview
Glutinous rice and lotus root with rock sugar is a home-cooked dish. The main raw materials are lotus root, glutinous rice and rock sugar. It has a sweet taste. Prepare ingredients: lotus root, glutinous rice, rock sugar, dried roses

Wash and peel the lotus root, cut off one end (to use as a cover)

Fill every hole of the lotus root with soaked glutinous rice

Put the previously cut lid on and secure it with toothpicks

Add water to the pot (cover the lotus roots), add rock sugar and roses (or osmanthus), bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and simmer until the lotus roots are cooked. You can also add a few red dates when cooking.
