Stir-fried pea pods
Overview
Peas are very common, but who knew that the tender outer pods are also edible? The pods are not only rich in vitamin C, but also have a crisp texture. Sauteed together with peas, they add a refreshing aroma. However, the pods cannot be eaten directly. The inner hard membrane must be removed to make them more tender.
