Wash the beef and cut into slices.

Wash and cut tomatoes and lettuce and set aside.

Add shredded ginger, pepper, thirteen spices, light soy sauce and seasoning to the beef and mix well.

Add bean paste and mix well.

Add sweet potato flour and stir evenly.

Add water and ginger slices to the soup pot and bring to a boil.

Stir beef slices into paste.

After the water boils, turn down the heat and add the beef wrapped in sweet potato flour piece by piece.

Put everything into the soup and bring to a boil over high heat.

Add the tomatoes and cook for 3 minutes until the meat is cooked through.

Add lettuce and bring to a boil again.

Add a little salt to taste and serve.
