Steps
-
Mix the dough ingredients and knead them together to form a dough, cover with plastic wrap and ferment at room temperature for 30 minutes.
-
The butter should be melted over water, and the pastry ingredients should also be turned into dough. A small amount of water was added, and the chef's recipe was a bit dry.
-
Roll the dough into a rectangular shape. I rolled it out not very neatly.
-
Fold one side from one-third to the middle. Also fold the other side to the middle.
-
Fold the top edge from one-third to the middle. Also fold the bottom edge toward the middle. After folding, turn the seam downward and repeat steps 4 and 5 twice.
-
After three rounds of folding, roll the dough into a rectangular shape and place puff pastry in the middle. After wrapping, repeat three rounds of folding.
-
Finally, roll the dough into a thin sheet and use a fork to prick the dough with even holes.
-
Cut into squares with a knife.
-
Place on a baking sheet and place in a warm place for final fermentation. After 30 minutes, when the dough becomes slightly thicker, place it in the preheated oven.
