Broken rice and egg drop porridge
Overview
I remember when I was a kid, my mother would use a household noodle machine to grind the rice into rice grits and make porridge to drink. I haven’t eaten it for a long time. I was thinking about it. So I soaked a little rice, beat it into broken rice with a blender, cooked the porridge, and poured egg drops on it. It was awesome, even more delicious than what I had eaten when I was a child! It is also very simple to make. It is not as time-consuming as rice porridge. It is more suitable for making soup for breakfast

Boil water in a pot, and use a blender to beat the soaked rice together with the water into broken rice.

Beat the eggs and set aside.

Beat the rice milk and egg liquid.

After the water boils, pour in the crushed rice milk.

Stir while pouring.

Cook over low heat for ten minutes. Stir in the middle to avoid burning the bottom. When the rice porridge is thicker, pour in beaten eggs.

Pour the egg drop slowly. Use a spoon to slowly push the porridge to prevent the egg liquid from forming into large pieces and avoid the egg liquid from sticking to the bottom. Turn off the heat after all the egg drop has floated.
