Overview

Sichuan is commonly known as Chaoshou. Sichuan people love spicy food, so there is a famous dish called Hongyou Chaoshou. (Chaoshou means holding your hand) With different wrapping methods, fillings and ingredients, you can create a variety of delicious flavors.

  1. Wash and cut green onions. Put the chopped green onions into the meat filling, beat in an egg, add minced ginger, a little sesame oil, salt, and thirteen-flavored chicken essence. Use chopsticks or a spoon to beat the filling clockwise until smooth.

  2. Take a piece of wonton wrapper and lay it flat in the palm of your hand. Use chopsticks to pick up an appropriate amount of meat filling and place it in the center of the wonton wrapper.

  3. Fold the wonton wrapper in half diagonally and pinch the corners tightly. Use your middle finger to press the meat filling.
