Ingredients
Steps
-
Fresh seedless melon bought from the supermarket or vegetable market, cut into round watermelon slices about 2 cm thick and set aside.
-
Use a paring knife to scoop out the red flesh of the watermelon, being careful not to break the outer ring of the watermelon.
-
Leave the green outer ring of the watermelon as a mold.
-
Use a juicer to squeeze the watermelon cubes into watermelon juice and set aside.
-
Use a strainer to skim off the scum on the surface of the watermelon juice.
-
Add caster sugar.
-
Add milk powder.
-
Add cornstarch.
-
Mix well.
-
Put the induction cooker on low heat and stir continuously with a spoon until the watermelon juice is thick. Hang the spoon and turn off the heat.
-
Let the watermelon juice cool. I can add some red food coloring to make the color look better.
-
While the watermelon juice is cooling, take eight popsicle sticks and use a knife to evenly make small openings in the watermelon rind. Be careful not to use too much force, as it will damage the watermelon rind. Use skill to insert the sticks and set aside.
-
Wet whip the light cream.
-
Take a small amount of whipping cream and add it to the watermelon juice and stir evenly.
-
Pour watermelon juice into remaining whipped cream.
-
Mix well.
-
Add an appropriate amount of dried cranberries and mix well to make melon seeds.
-
Pour it into the watermelon mold and slowly level it. The amount I prepared here can be used for two to three servings.
-
Sprinkle some dried cranberries on top for a better look.
-
Place it in the freezer for at least five to six hours, then take it out and cut it into eight equal parts.
-
The popsicles made in this way are sweet and soft, have a great taste, and are very healthy!
