Orange marmalade

Orange marmalade

Overview

There are several orange trees in the yard of my mother-in-law's house, and many of them grow back every year. I have never made jam in the past, but now I have really learned a lot here. I know how to mess with many things, and I have also learned to make jam. The homemade jam is really delicious and natural, and you can eat it with confidence. Homemade food makes my life more fulfilling and happier, let’s enjoy this sweet moment together~~

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Peel the oranges and remove the coating and white membrane (my mother did it for me, so there is no process picture);

  2. Maltose should be poured roughly. The amount is the weight minus the weight before and after pouring. It is sweeter (it depends on each person’s preference);

    Orange marmalade step 2
  3. Put the two into the pot and bring to a boil over high heat, then turn down the heat and simmer slowly (because the peeled pulp has been placed in the refrigerator overnight and some water has come out, so it will cook faster without adding water. If it is dry, you need to add water);

  4. Cook until the color becomes darker and thicker;

    Orange marmalade step 4
  5. Take the sealed jar and sterilize it with boiling water, put it in the refrigerator to cool down;

    Orange marmalade step 5
  6. If I can’t eat so much at once and can freeze it for longer, I’ll save a bottle and give it to other good friends of Nobao.
