Chive and Cheese Scones
Overview
I’ve always wanted to make cheese scones, but I only had string cheese at home. Today I couldn't help but try this chive-flavored salty scone with this brushed cheese. It felt okay. It didn't have the stringy effect, but it had the aroma of cheese. Such a big one, I only ate one piece, and all the children finished it. She loved eating this so much!

Ingredients
Steps
-
All the ingredients (I mixed the milk and yeast together, and mixed the butter into the flour).
-
Put the flour, cheese, sugar, salt, and chives in a container.
-
Slowly add milk.
-
Mix all ingredients and knead into dough.
-
Roll the dough into a rectangular shape.
-
Fold both sides, then roll it into a rectangle, repeat twice (this will make it more layered when baked).
-
Then roll the dough into a dough about 0.6 cm thick and cut it twice into cross shapes with a knife.
-
Place on a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper at the bottom), cover with plastic wrap and let rest for about fifteen minutes.
-
Coat with a layer of egg liquid (add a few drops of oil to the egg liquid and mix well to bake it brighter).
-
Place in the oven (preheat the oven in advance), bake at 160 degrees for ten minutes, then cover with tin foil and bake for another five minutes
