Prepare materials.

Wash the red dates and slice them into pieces for later use.

Add sugar and yeast powder to warm water and stir well to dissolve.

Slowly pour the yeast water into the flour while stirring with chopsticks.

Knead the dough into a smooth dough and place it in a warm place of 30 to 35 degrees Celsius to ferment until it doubles in size.

Take out the dough and press it on the panel, then roll it out into a 2cm cake base.

Grease the steamer with oil or put a damp cloth, put in the cake base, wipe the surface with water, press the red date slices in sequence, cover and let it ferment for about 40 to 50 minutes.

Bring the steamer to a boil over high heat and steam for 25 minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer for three minutes. Take it out and cut into pieces.
