Put the rice into the wooden barrel pot to steam first, do not cover it, wait for the steam to come up (to see if the rice inside is cooked!), then cover it and continue steaming for ten minutes. Then open the lid and sprinkle a little boiling water on the surface of the rice (must be boiling water!) Then close the lid and steam for ten minutes!

Chop plum tongue fruit, winter melon sugar, and red dates and set aside! Dice the pineapple and stir-fry the white sesame seeds in a hot pan. Once everything is done, you can put it on the bottom of the bowl!

Steam the glutinous rice and pour it into a basin. Be sure to pour the predetermined amount while it is hot and stir evenly. When the white sugar is completely melted, add the lard and stir evenly. Then pour in the diced pineapple (add more or less according to your personal taste) and stir evenly

Put the mixed glutinous rice into a bowl that has been filled with five treasures and press it gently (it is best to put a fresh-keeping bag in the bowl). Seal the bag and be sure to separate the steam.

Once wrapped, you can steam it in a small steamer at home. Turn on high heat and steam for fifteen minutes. Just like this, a delicious pineapple eight-treasure rice is ready!
