Secret Spare Ribs
Overview
This is a creative dish. It combines Chinese barbecued pork ribs ingredients with Western cooking methods. After trying different combinations, the chef felt that the ribs produced by this combination had a superior taste.

Cut the ribs into strips of about 10 cm

Soak the cut ribs in water for 10 minutes

Prepare the condiments, divide the ginger and green onion in half, slice one half into sections, and chop the other half

Use a measuring cup to take the light soy sauce and cooking wine

Take two spoons of sweet noodle sauce and set aside. You can add or subtract the appropriate amount according to your personal taste

Wash the soaked pork ribs and put them into boiling water together with large pieces of ginger and green onions until the water boils again for about 3-5 minutes

Drain the pork ribs that have been seared in boiling water

Heat an appropriate amount of olive oil/peanut oil in the pan, add star anise, peppercorns, and cinnamon, and stir-fry for 1 minute

Add the drained pork ribs and chopped ginger and green onion together, stir-fry for 2 minutes

Add cooking wine, light soy sauce and sweet noodle sauce, stir well and reduce the juice

Take out the pork ribs that have collected the juice and place them on tin foil

Wrap the ribs with tin foil

Place in the preheated oven at 200C° for 10-15 minutes (adjust according to the thickness of the meat)
