This is my first time to braise seabass with soybean sauce. In the past, seabass was steamed or braised with other ingredients. Let’s wait and see if it tastes delicious!

  1. Wash the sea bass, rub salt on the surface and set aside.

  2. Cut onions and ginger into small pieces and set aside.

  3. Take a bowl, add water and mix the soybean paste and rice wine evenly and set aside.

  4. Preheat the oil in the pan and fry the sea bass until both sides turn slightly brown.

  5. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and ginger and sauté for a while.

  6. Add the fried seabass to the pan.

  7. Add the prepared sauce. Simmer over medium heat for 25 minutes.

  8. Remove from the pan and serve on a plate, ready to enjoy.
