  4. Heat oil in a pan, add rock sugar and set over medium heat. After the sugar has melted, stir continuously.

  6. Add thirteen spices, appropriate amount of cooking wine, soy sauce, and a small amount of salt. Stir fry.

  7. Heat water until the ribs are covered and cook over medium-low heat for 30 minutes. When the soup is gone, take it out of the pot.
