Oatmeal chicken drumstick
Overview
The second trial report of Kewpie Black Pepper Salad Dressing. What we offer this time is an oatmeal chicken drumstick that is comparable to KFC. I personally feel that the taste is even better than KFC’s burger~~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Whole chicken legs bought at the market, boneless. Add light soy sauce, salt, and sugar and marinate overnight.
-
Put high-gluten flour, ordinary flour, corn oil, sugar, salt and yeast into a basin, add appropriate amount of water and knead the dough.
-
Knead the dough repeatedly and vigorously until it reaches the expansion stage where the film can be pulled out.
-
Cover the kneaded dough with plastic wrap and place it in a warm place to ferment.
-
The size of the fermentation will be approximately 2 times the original size.
-
Dip your fingers in flour and poke into the dough. If the holes do not shrink back, it means the dough is fermented.
-
Take out the fermented dough and squeeze out the air from the dough. Make the dough smaller, then cover with plastic wrap and continue fermenting at room temperature. Ferment for about 15 minutes
-
Then divide the dough into 5 small portions. Use a rolling pin to roll each portion into a small round cake. The burger mold must be coated with a layer of butter in advance to prevent sticking. The rolled out round cake is slightly smaller than the mold because it needs to ferment again.
-
Place the burgers prepared in step 8 on a baking sheet and place in the oven on the middle or upper rack. Take another baking pan, pour hot water into the baking pan, and put it in the oven together. Close the oven door and ferment again. It takes about 30 minutes. The fermented burger embryo is shown in the picture, filling the mold.
-
Take out the fermented hamburger embryo and lightly brush the surface with milk. Then sprinkle some oats.
-
Place in preheated oven, middle rack, 180 degrees, about 15 minutes. Bake until surface is golden brown.
-
After baking, take it out to cool.
-
Take out the boneless chicken legs marinated the day before, place them on the grill, and brush the surface with honey water. Bake for 15 minutes, flip over, brush the other side with honey water, and bake for another 15 minutes. The chicken legs can be easily penetrated with chopsticks and there are no raw red strands. Everyone has control over the specific heat.
-
Unmold the grilled burgers.
-
Cut the burger embryo in the middle and put a piece of lettuce on it.
-
Kewpie Salad Dressing, Black Pepper Flavor
-
Cut the grilled chicken legs into pieces, place them on the lettuce, and top with the Kewpie black pepper salad dressing.
-
Cover the top half of the burger bun. It's comparable to KFC's oatmeal chicken drumstick. Tempting, right?
