Super Simple Black Forest Layer Cake
Overview
I was originally a junior student at South China University of Technology and now I am an exchange student in the United States. Because I couldn't eat delicious Chinese food, I started to make my own skills. Recently, I wanted to eat cakes from Mei Di, but they were a little expensive, so I wanted to make my own dormitory supplies. With limited conditions, I came up with the easiest way to make cakes. It's really simple, beautiful and delicious! ! !

Steps
-
I forgot to take a picture of all the ingredients, but I forgot to take a picture of the chocolate, which will appear later, but it can be omitted
-
Separate the egg whites and egg yolks and then beat the egg whites. Cake powder itself is very sweet, so you need to add less sugar or no sugar. I beat it by hand for about 15 minutes
-
Half a bag of cake mix, then add a bowl of water and 1/3 bowl of cooking oil and butter can also be used
-
Then mix the whipped egg whites and cake batter thoroughly
-
Apply a layer of oil to the mold. This time I used a pancake mold
-
Pour into mold
-
Preheat the oven for ten minutes and bake at 180 degrees for about an hour (you can take it out at 50 minutes and poke it with a toothpick. If the toothpick is clean, it’s done)
-
While waiting, I cut up some sandwich fruits. This time I used pears because the dormitory only has pears. Actually, I prefer yellow peaches or strawberries
-
It’s baked because when I flipped it upside down, the hot steam made the surface a bit ugly, but it doesn’t matter and I’ll have to apply cream later!
-
Because I want to make a sandwich, I cut it in the middle and divided it into two pieces
-
Apply a layer of cream and put the fruit on it. Because I only have a little bit of vanilla cream left and will save it for decoration later, so if there is enough vanilla cream, it will be covered with chocolate to make it look better! !
-
Use an ordinary plastic knife to touch the outside of the cream and use the serrated side to get a better-looking effect
-
It’s done~ It looks like a chocolate pie, hahaha. Don’t be too obsessive about the appearance because there will be decorations later
-
Use chocolate and a paring knife to directly cut out chocolate chips and spread them on the cake. Do not spread them all over the cake, leaving a circle around the outside
-
Put the vanilla cream into a plastic bag and cut a small opening to make it smaller! ! Then you can use your imagination to decorate
-
In fact, the finished picture should have some more fruits on top, such as strawberries and blueberries, but I ate all the ones in my dormitory, so I left them out this time. It would look better!
-
It’s pretty good-looking
-
I like to put the best ones in the refrigerator to chill them, which will make the cake shape better and cut better
-
Finally I can eat it! ! So delicious that I cry
