My daughter likes to eat beef, so I made some curry-flavored and cumin-flavored beef jerky.

Beef shank, no oil, no tendons, no fat

Cut into strips or cubes as you like, smooth and chewy, and against the grain. I choose half and half

After skimming off the foam, the foam spoon is still very useful

Add all ingredients except cumin

After forty-five minutes on medium heat, drain the water and add to a non-stick pan for frying

Add cumin and lower heat to dry
