Overview

One day I saw an online foodie making homemade tofu, and I immediately became interested and immediately bought the mold materials. Now I want to make everything by myself, I’m addicted, haha.

  1. Soak the soybeans in water the night before.

  2. Beat with a food processor in batches, filter, pour into a large pot and bring to a boil, turn off the heat and let cool for seven or eight minutes, until it cools to about 80 degrees.

  3. Dissolve the salt brine with 100 grams of water and slowly pour it into the soy milk. After a minute or two, flocculent tofu flowers will appear and the water will become clearer.

  4. Cover the mold with filter cloth.

  5. Pour the tofu curd into the mold.

  6. Wrap the filter cloth on all sides.

  7. Put the platen in.

  8. Place a heavy object on top for about 15 minutes.

  9. Completed, the finished product is strong and elastic when pressed.

  10. Not bad.

  11. I made mapo tofu at noon, it was spicy and delicious.
