Wash and cut the cabbage into sections and set aside.

Peel the taro, wash and cut into small pieces. Set aside.

Cut green onions into small pieces.

Heat up the wok, add cooking oil to heat and sauté the scallions.

Add the taro and stir-fry twice.

Pour a bowl of water to boil, cover with a lid and simmer the taro over medium-low heat.

When the taro is 80% ripe, add the cabbage and stir-fry until evenly mixed and continue to simmer until the taro is cooked.

Add salt and chicken essence, stir-fry evenly and turn off the heat before serving.
