Spicy BBQ Pork Chicken
Overview
Chicken is one of the essential poultry varieties in people's daily diet. Compared with beef and pork, chicken has higher protein quality and lower fat content. Chicken is also a good source of phosphorus, iron, copper and zinc, and is rich in vitamin B12, vitamin B6, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin K, etc. The protein content of chicken varies according to the part, skin on and without skin. The approximate order from high to low is skinless chicken, breast meat, and thigh meat. Compared with other meats, skinless chicken has the characteristics of low calories and is a high-quality source of protein. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that chicken has the effects of warming the body and replenishing qi, replenishing deficiency and replenishing essence, strengthening the spleen and stomach, activating blood vessels, and strengthening muscles and bones. For today’s spicy barbecued pork chicken dish, I used chicken breast and chicken legs, used honey instead of sugar, and marinated it in barbecued pork sauce. Instead of using an oven, I used a quick stir-fry method, which gave the chicken more flavor and made it less irritating.
