Melt the measured butter over water.

Choose a large ripe banana and crush the walnuts.

Crush 2 and a half bananas into a puree and use the other half for decoration.

Add sugar and vanilla extract to the mashed banana and stir evenly.

Add the eggs and melted butter and mix well with your hands.

Add in chopped walnuts and stir evenly.

Finally add flour, salt and baking powder and mix well.

Brush the mold with butter, pour the batter into the mold eight-quarters full, and place banana slices on top.

Preheat the oven and bake at 170°C for 45 minutes.
