Steps
-
Place the small pumpkin in the microwave on high heat for 5 minutes.
-
Take out the small pumpkin that has softened in the microwave, cut the top with a knife, remove the flesh with a spoon and discard it, and press the flesh into a puree.
-
Put one egg, half a carton of milk, appropriate amount of light cream and white sugar into another small bowl and mix well to form a pudding liquid, then sift through a fine mesh and pour into the pumpkin cup. (The texture will be much finer after sifting. If you don’t have whipping cream, you can use condensed milk instead. Add in appropriate amount to enhance the flavor, but whipping cream will taste more delicious. The mixed pudding liquid should be about the same thickness as usual steamed eggs.)
-
Cover the pumpkin cup with the pudding liquid poured into it, place it on the steam rack and steam for 8 minutes, then take it out and put the cut seaweed slices on it. (Steamed pudding is the same as ordinary steamed eggs. The outside needs to be covered with a lid or plastic wrap so that the surface of the steamed pudding or eggs will be smooth.)
