Cranberry English Scones
Overview
English scones, also known as English muffins, are a must-have for British afternoon tea. There are many varieties of scones. In addition to the traditional scones that everyone is familiar with, there are also ones with raisins, almond slices, cheese and other flavors, as well as potato scones. Not only does it have a rich buttery aroma, it also has the softness of a creamy dessert.

Soak dried cranberries in rum.

Butter softened.

Sift low-gluten flour and baking powder, add sugar and butter and mix well with a silicone spatula.

Knead with hands until there are no large particles.

Add light cream, beaten whole egg liquid and cranberries, mix well.

Fold it in half repeatedly on the silicone pad until it is no longer sticky when pressed lightly with your fingers.

Gently pat it into a 2CM thick rectangle with your hands, and cut it into rounds using a No. 4 or No. 5 round mold.

Brush the surface with egg wash and place on a baking sheet.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, middle layer, upper and lower heat, about 15 minutes, until the surface is golden brown.
